Email sam@useshift.app. It goes to Sam, the founder, and a real person replies within one working day (Monday to Friday, UK time). Put pledge, page, payout, privacy or delete in the subject and it gets there faster.

Backers: pledges, charges and refunds

Nothing is charged when you pledge. Your card is saved with Stripe and charged after race day, once the official result is in.
A share marked "only if they hit the goal" is never charged if the goal is missed. The 6% fee is only ever charged on money that is actually taken.
If the athlete takes their page down before race day, every pledge on it is cancelled. If the race is cancelled, you can withdraw.
Charged in error, or something looks wrong on your statement? Email within 14 days with the athlete's page link and we'll put it right, including a refund where one is due. The full rules are on the pricing page and in the Terms.

Athletes: pages, sign-in and payouts

Sign in at useshift.app/login with the email you applied with. We send a 6-digit code; there is no password unless you asked for one.
Your page is a draft until we've checked it with you (including the charity number). Once live, email us for any change that the dashboard won't let you make.
Payouts of your personal share go through Stripe to a UK bank account, set up from the "Get paid" card on your page's dashboard. Charity shares are paid within 30 days of settlement.

Delete your account

Signed in: Dashboard → Account → type DELETE. Live pages are closed and uncharged pledges are released. Can't sign in? Email the address above with the subject SHIFT Account Deletion and we'll do it by hand within 48 hours. Details of what is kept and for how long are in the Privacy Policy and on the account deletion page.

SHIFT iOS app

The iOS app signs you into the same account. Pledging happens on the website, so the app opens Safari for it. If you had a SHIFT subscription from the earlier version of the app, it is managed through your Apple ID subscription settings; see the Subscription Terms.
